The **Members Only** is seeking highly qualified attorneys to join our Employment Trial Section in the St. Louis office. This is an exciting opportunity for attorneys with strong credentials to defend the State of Missouri and its officials, agencies, and employees in complex litigation cases.
As an Assistant Attorney General in the Employment Trial Section, you will have the opportunity to participate in jury trials, appear in state and federal courts, and work closely with clients to manage risk. You will also handle all stages of litigation, including pretrial investigations, motion practice, and appeals. This position requires a strong desire to do jury trials and a commitment to public service.
Desired experience and skills for this position include courtroom experience, pre-filing investigations, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and drafting legal documents and correspondence. Familiarity with state court rules and procedures is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills and be licensed to practice law in Missouri.
The **Members Only** offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, and life insurance plans, state pension, and deferred compensation benefits.
