General Information:
- Court Attorneys serve in a confidential capacity and under supervision for judges or groups of judges in various courts within the Unified Court System.
- They research and analyze legal issues and questions, as well as perform other related duties.
- Court Attorneys may be assigned to judges designated as Acting Justices of the Supreme Court for one full term or less.
- The appointee may be subject to reassignment to any position in the same title in this promotion unit dependent upon the needs of the Unified Court System.

Job Description:
- Staffing the Help Center and providing procedural information to unrepresented litigants.
- Assisting unrepresented litigants in the use of the Do-It-Yourself computer programs to generate court forms and information sheets.
- Answering general questions from the public and providing forms.
- Directing the public to the proper departments for assistance.
- Reviewing court papers.
- Collecting and reporting statistical information.
- Acting as a liaison to statewide Help Center administration.
