Job Title: Visiting Assistant Faculty Fellow, Spring
Job Responsibilities:
The Visiting Assistant Faculty Fellow will be responsible for several key duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Serving as an active member of the faculty at a reputed firm, teaching two Legal Methods courses in the Fall semester and two Legal Methods courses in the Spring semester.
- Meeting with students during regularly scheduled office hours to provide feedback and guidance on course material.
- Potentially developing and teaching an additional course aside from Legal Methods in consultation with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs based on the expertise of the Faculty Fellow.
- Being eligible for a Summer Research Grant and may engage in scholarship drafting and presentation during the academic year.
- May be asked to serve on law school faculty committees.
- May be invited to serve as a faculty advisor to student organizations.
Education and Experience Information:
Minimum qualifications required for the position include:
Required:
- A . degree from an ABA-accredited law school and/or a PhD or its equivalent from a national or international university.
- An undergraduate degree or its equivalent.
Preferred:
- Law school teaching experience.
- Legal practice experience.
- Published scholarship in a related law field.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Hours:
The position involves teaching in an Evening Division program where classes are scheduled between the hours of 5:25 pm and 10:05 pm.
