- Provide direct and indirect services in various local and area offices
- Internship available in CP&P and DCF Central Offices
Education Requirements:
- Must be a current college student
Disqualifying factors:
- Fingerprints
- Outside activity questionnaire
- Child abuse record information (CARI) background check
- Driving record with five points or more within the past five years
- Driving under the influence conviction within the past five years
- Combination of three motor vehicle violations or license suspensions within the last five years (excluding parking violations)
Office: Legal Affairs
- Intern responsible for tasks in several units
- Excellent writing skills and professional communication expected
- Conduct legal research and summarize Appellate and Supreme Court decisions
- Work closely with Administrative Hearings Unit to process appeals
- Assist with writing final agency decisions
- Work with immigration unit to assist with immigration issues facing clients
