Law Firm Seeking Experienced Conflicts Attorney for Remote Position

Law Firm is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Conflicts Attorney to join our team remotely. As a Remote Conflicts Attorney, you will be responsible for all aspects of new business intake, including conflict checking and resolution, as well as documentation of matter engagement. We are looking for a candidate with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and an active license to practice law in the United States, as well as at least two years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney or in a comparable role.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all new business intake details to ensure accuracy and adherence with Firm policies and procedures
- Conduct conflict of interest searches and perform first level clearance review of results
- Draft engagement letters and/or consents for new engagements and coordinate with Firm attorneys for approval and execution by clients
- Coordinate with Firm Managing Partner and/or Office Managing Partners for approval of business terms
- Review and implement Outside Counsel Guidelines
- Supervise and work with conflicts staff
- Assist with lateral hiring process and onboarding of new matters for lateral hires
- Handle special projects and requests as needed

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active law license in the United States
- Two years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney or in a comparable role
- Strong understanding of legal relationships and loss prevention/legal risk management
- Knowledge of Rules of Professional Conduct
- Experience with database review and searching
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in using reference materials and conducting internet searches
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Must maintain confidentiality and use discretion with sensitive information
