Job Title: Head of Investigations
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a team with the requisite subject matter expertise to implement and operationalize the investigations program, ensuring it upholds the company's values and expectations for an ethical culture.
- Conduct and oversee effective and efficient investigations, overseeing all aspects of the company's investigative activities and investigation processes.
- Lead a team of investigators, conduct training, and develop and implement investigation policies and procedures.
- Coordinate across multiple functions to ensure consistent investigation protocols that adhere to evolving industry standards.
- Evolve and continuously improve the investigations program by leading strategically and regularly reviewing the program to identify gaps or areas of improvement.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of 15 years of recent experience in well-regarded law firms, government agencies, or in-house legal departments.
- Experience with internal investigations involving accounting firms, similar professional organizations, or financial institutions is a plus.
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school, and licensed to practice law in the ., including in the state in which the office is located.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality deliverables and results.
- Strategic thinking in sensitive and complex situations and the highest ethical standards, integrity, authenticity, credibility, and character.
- Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to interpret data, synthesize, and communicate data-driven conclusions.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills, including building strong business partnerships and working within cross-functional teams.
- Client-service orientation with the ability to create effective working relationships cross-functionally.
