Bankruptcy Attorney The candidate will handle a running caseload of contested/complex bankruptcy matters and bankruptcy adversary proceedings. The candidate should be responsible for daily review of inbound referral placements, daily review and approval of draft pleadings/claims/orders prior to submission for client approval and/or court filing; daily review of inbound cm/ecf electronic service; hearing prep and attendance; discovery; settlement negotiations; real estate title claims; security interests; review of default mortgage servicing issues; research and writing on bankruptcy topics, etc.

The candidate should have 2+ years experience handling a wide scope of bankruptcy matters or equivalent experience with creditor/debtor litigation, ideally in federal court. Should be licensed to practice in GA or NC. Should be admitted to federal and bankruptcy courts in states of licensure with cm/ecf efiling credentials in-hand. Should have strong understanding of secured creditor issues and the drive to make a difference.
