Job Description:
- Serve as Counsel to the Asset Servicing and Digital (“ASD") business at BNY
- Located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL with a hybrid work schedule available
- Expected to contribute as part of a larger team and independently advise the business
- Exposure to and interest in asset management, financial institutions, technology, digital assets, data and analytics is helpful
- Draft and negotiate services contracts and related agreements
- Work closely with business colleagues to evaluate and support the implementation of new technologies and strategies

Responsibilities:
- Function as a trusted internal resource, using knowledge of BNY's businesses, products, services and strategies to advance legal positions
- Handle a broad portfolio of legal issues
- Collaborate with colleagues throughout the organization to align solutions to global legal strategies
- Partner with colleagues in advisory or oversight capacities, such as Risk, Audit, and Compliance
- Manage outside counsel and review their work for appropriateness and quality
- Develop a broad understanding of ASD products and services

Qualifications:
- Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction
- 3+ years of professional experience as an admitted attorney
- Prior corporate legal experience in asset management or financial services preferred
- Transactional experience and contract drafting and negotiation strongly desired
- Experience with technology, software, digital assets, blockchain, data and analytics legal issues a plus
