Law Firm is seeking highly qualified alternative track associates to join our litigation – products liability and toxic torts practice in California.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle high volume litigation cases
• Take depositions
• Familiar with California state court procedures
• Conduct legal research and writing
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
• Manage case files and deadlines
Requirements:
• Member of the California State Bar
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• 3-5 years or more of experience in high volume litigation
• Experience in products liability and toxic torts preferred
• Familiarity with California state court procedures
Salary Information:
• Salary range: $170,000 to $200,000
• Non-partnership track position with a billable hour requirement of 1,850 hours annually
• Compensation is commensurate with experience
• Base salary or hourly wage range will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on multiple factors
• Total compensation package may include a full range of benefits, such as medical, financial, and paid time off
• At-will position with the possibility of salary or hourly wage modifications based on performance and market factors
• Non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement may be required
