Job Title:
Sr. Legal Counsel, Labor & Employment

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on employment compliance issues including workplace conduct, hiring, leaves and accommodations, investigations, disciplinary actions, separations, and employee relations.
- Balance business needs with risk mitigation.
- Develop expertise to support company locations in various states.
- Handle litigation strategy, EEOC responses, and communications with government agencies.
- Support regulatory and compliance matters such as EEOC, OFCCP, AAPs, and EEO-1 reporting.
- Participate with Legal and Human Resources leadership teams to develop employee relations strategies and scalable processes as the company grows.

Education and Experience Information:
- 8+ years of legal experience in employment and labor law advice, handling employment litigation cases, and defending agency actions, either with a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited . college or university.
- Membership in at least one . state bar; must obtain admission to the Washington State bar after hire.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, with clear communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Capability to react calmly and appropriately to situations requiring quick response or turnaround.
- Ability to maintain productive work relationships and provide legal advice directly to clients at all levels.
- Must earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a . citizen or national, . permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the . as a refugee or granted asylum.

Salary Information:
- Compensation range for WA applicants: $177,,. Other site ranges may differ.
