Job Responsibilities:
The role of Counsel within the Pensions, Benefits & Investments Group at the law firm involves significant responsibilities, including:
- Managing and taking ownership of significant deals related to private funds investments.
- Working on private funds across various asset classes and/or public market transactions, either from the manager or investor side.
- Efficiently and effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborating with team members and clients to ensure successful outcomes for transactions and investments.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Counsel position must meet the following education and experience criteria:
- Possess at least 8 years of experience in the field, specifically with extensive private funds investment experience.
- Hold excellent academic credentials, indicating a strong educational background in relevant legal fields.
- Have prior experience working with private funds in different asset classes and/or public market transactions.
- Be admitted to the bar in the state where they are applying, ensuring eligibility to practice law in that jurisdiction.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the Counsel position at the law firm is between $175,000 and $230,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary is expected to fall within this range, but actual compensation will depend on various factors, including the candidate’s qualifications and experience. It is important to note that Counsel roles at the law firm are not on the partner track.
