Job Summary:
The ideal candidate for this position will have 2-3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a strong understanding of due diligence, transaction documents, and deal processes. This individual will work closely with the team to support transactions and provide high-quality legal services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and managing closing checklists
- Preparing basic transaction and contract documents
- Conducting due diligence reviews and drafting disclosure schedules
- Assisting with transactions, including drafting organizational and approval documents
- Preparing corporate formation and transfer documents
- Organizing and managing data rooms, due diligence memoranda, and rep/warranty calls
- Supporting securities law analysis and transactions
Requirements:
- California bar admission and excellent academic credentials
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- High attention to detail and responsiveness
- A team-oriented mindset and commitment to professionalism, client service, and business development
Salary:
The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $185,000, with potential for significant bonuses based on experience and performance.
