Attorney Professional Development Manager The candidate will collaborate with senior members of the Professional Development team and key attorney stakeholders to design, develop, and implement innovative training solutions to engage and retain attorney talent across the Firm. Will design, develop, implement and manage all aspects of the Firm's core skills-building training for attorneys across Blank Rome offices, which includes, but is not limited to, new Associate orientation and training, Summer Associate training, Mock Trial Training, Negotiation Training, practice group specific training, and general professional skills training. Identify potential vendors/external trainers/external training programs to support the Firm's training needs. Support attorney performance review processes and mentoring and sponsorship programs. Develop and oversee a master calendar of all Blank Rome professional development learning initiatives. Monitor trends that impact the legal professional development industry and work to integrate these trends into Blank Rome programs (engage in industry organizations such as NALP/PDC/SHRM). Ensure proper CLE reporting and processing of CLE credits for all Blank Rome programs and collaborate with Blank Rome's Business Development and Marketing teams as needed. Oversee the Firm's CLE accreditation sponsor status and renewal in various jurisdictions. Draft materials to market and brand internally and external professional development learning initiatives. Coordinate with Blank Rome's Technology team to use the Firm's LMS. Track participation and obtain regular feedback on training programs. Prepare and manage the budget for Professional Development training. Provide guidance and development to the Attorney Professional Development Coordinator and CLE Administrator. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Work additional hours as needed to fulfill job requirements.

The candidate should have 5 years professional experience, ideally in professional development/learning and development/human resources/practice management areas. Bachelor's degree required. Experience in a legal environment or professional services are required. Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to develop positive working relationships (in-person and virtually). Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is required. Ability to manage multiple tasks with effective organizational skills needed. Must have proven problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Should have unquestioned integrity and professionalism. Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Must be proficient in web-based conference call/web-sharing applications.
