Legal and Global Security Internships
Job Responsibilities
- Support various lines of business within Legal and Global Security.
- Work on exciting projects alongside top professionals.
- Participate in teams full of dynamic, smart, hardworking, and fun individuals passionate about corporate law and security.
- Collaborate with **Members Only** business groups to find efficient, practical solutions to their legal requirements.
- Prepare legal memoranda and presentations on groundbreaking intellectual property issues.
- Work with attorneys and paralegals, as well as outside advisers, on domestic and international legal matters covering corporate law, governance, shareholder engagement, international expansion, financing, SEC compliance, compensation and benefits, risk management, banking, credit, and insolvency.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects by researching legal issues and regulatory developments and preparing summaries.
- Draft specialized security products and keynotes.
- Develop and implement security plans for events and projects worldwide.
- Establish and build relationships with business units, contract guards, and other vendors to understand the environment and unique security needs for events, offices, campuses, and threat issues.
Education and Experience Information
- Global Security teams seek students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in political science, international relations, communications, business administration, safety & security, or related majors.
- Corporate Legal Teams seek students who have completed their first year of Law school (1L) at an accredited university.
- At the end of the internship, interns must return to school to continue their education or the internship must be the last requirement for graduation.
