Job Title: Financial Services Global Structuring - Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the firm's legal entity information database, concentrating on tax attributes.
- Lead teams and oversee client accounts with a focus on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff.
- Ensure project success and maintain high standards while motivating and inspiring team members to deliver quality work.
- Leverage team strengths to meet client expectations effectively.
- Implement technology-enabled solutions for tax advisory services.
- Drive digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies within the team.
- Develop new skills and act to resolve issues that hinder team effectiveness.
- Coach others by recognizing their strengths and encouraging them to take ownership of their personal development.
- Analyze complex ideas or proposals to build a range of meaningful recommendations.
- Use multiple sources of information, including broader stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations.
- Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet the firm's or client's expectations.
- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
- Formulate a point of view on key global trends and their impact on clients.
- Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties involved.
- Simplify complex messages by highlighting and summarizing key points.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience is necessary for this role.
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify candidates for this opportunity.
- A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or a Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study is preferred.
- Master of Laws in Taxation is preferred.
- Experience with private equity ownership structures is advantageous.
- Knowledge of . tax concepts and classifications is required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
- Experience in automation and digitization is valued.
- Ability to build and utilize client relationships is important.
- Experience supervising teams for tax compliance is required.
- Ability to coach staff with meaningful feedback is necessary.
- Skills in developing new relationships and selling services are beneficial.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $98,300 - $266,000.
- Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
- For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for the position.
- Actual compensation will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
