Are you an experienced criminal law attorney looking to join a well-established and respected law firm? **Members Only** is looking for a highly skilled attorney to join our team as a Senior Associate or Junior Partner in our criminal law practice. The available locations are Columbus (Polk Co., NC), Marion (McDowell Co., NC), Lincolnton (Lincoln Co., NC), Waynesville, (Haywood Co., NC), Charlotte (Mecklenburg), and Brevard (Transylvania Co., NC).
### Job Description

This position is eligible for the potential partnership track, depending on qualifications and performance.
The Senior Associate/Junior Partner – Criminal Law will be responsible for representing clients in various criminal law matters, including but not limited to domestic violence, assault, drug charges, juvenile crimes, white collar crimes, and misdemeanor offenses. The successful candidate will manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and providing regular updates to clients. The Senior Associate/Junior Partner will also be responsible for conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. In addition, this position will involve engaging in negotiation and mediation efforts to resolve disputes amicably, collaborating with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management, and participating in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings. The successful candidate may also be responsible for mentoring and supervising junior attorneys and paralegals.
### Requirements
Applicants for this position must have a . from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with a state bar association. The successful candidate should have two to ten years of experience practicing family law and demonstrate excellent analytical, research, and writing skills. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation and mediation skills, the ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload, and a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered focus are also required. Experience in business development and networking activities is a plus.
### Salary Range
The salary range for the Senior Associate/Junior Partner – Criminal Law position is $80,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience).
