Job Title: Tax Senior Associate II
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities. The focus is on companies in industries such as manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services and technology, and financial institutions.
- Assist in supervising, developing, and coaching professional tax staff, ensuring their growth and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and manage client relationships, ensuring that client service is timely and exceeds expectations.
- Represent the company in the marketplace by attending networking events to foster relationships and promote the brand.
- Participate in the proposal process for potential new clients, contributing to the company’s business development efforts.
- Engage in campus recruiting initiatives and programs to attract new talent to the company.
- Contribute to company-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publications, and participate in internal learning and development sessions.
- Work collaboratively with the team to assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts efficiently.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- At least 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience.
- CPA license or fulfillment of the educational requirements necessary to obtain a CPA license (150-credit hour requirement).
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law degree, or a related field.
- Experience in Private Equity and Partnerships.
