Director, International Tax / Corporate Transformation Tax - Dallas, TX
Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 annually

Director, International Tax/Corporate Transformation Tax is responsible for identifying and managing the impact of international tax provisions on large scale operational business changes. This includes modeling transaction scenarios to identify tax efficiencies and incentives opportunities, managing cross-border tax issues and coordinating with specialists and local country tax advisors, and conducting IP migrations, entity rationalization, post-acquisition integration, and other international tax planning for multinational companies.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Identify the impact of key international tax provisions on operational business changes
- Model transaction scenarios to identify tax efficiencies and incentives opportunities
- Identify cross-border tax issues and coordinate with specialists and local country tax advisors
- Conduct IP migrations, entity rationalization, post-acquisition integration, and other international tax planning for multinational companies
- Develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services
- Analyze IP structures, transactional flows, debt structures, and tax returns to evaluate potential tax opportunities
- Prepare and review financial and tax models computing cash tax and operational impacts
- Research technical issues pertaining to corporate international tax, debt restructurings, reorganizations, and operational restructurings
- Prepare and review structuring slide decks, technical memoranda and opinions
- Lead preparation, detailed discussion, and follow through in client and internal stakeholder meetings
- Manage risk, resources, staffing and financial performance for multiple engagements
- Lead client calls and apply tax technical knowledge to specific client situations
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and clearly communicate work plan, project objectives, and timelines
- Build client relationships and demonstrate a working knowledge of client businesses
- Supervise, develop, mentor, and motivate team members
- Manage workload and deadlines with a focus on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Demonstrate commitment and desired behaviors while working with diverse teams
- Conduct day-to-day management of accounts and support business development efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Supply Chain
- Licensed CPA or Licensed Attorney
- 6+ years of tax consulting experience
- Experience with global cash tax scenario modeling, international tax and transfer pricing implications, or global project management
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office products skills
- Understanding of inbound and outbound international tax planning strategies
- Demonstrated success as a trusted tax and business advisor
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- High motivation to learn and grow
- Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
