Job Title: Tax Senior - Real Estate

Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be part of an engagement team and utilize your experience in accounting and taxation to provide tax compliance and consulting services to investment management clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing detailed-level reviews of partnership work papers, allocations, and tax returns.
- Preparing materials and conducting research for consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities.
- Coordinating and communicating with client contacts to gather necessary information for completing their tax returns.
- Training, mentoring, and supervising new and experienced-level tax staff.
- Attending required company and sector-specific training sessions.

Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Ability to work within a hybrid model requiring US Tax professionals to be on-site 2-3 days per week.
- Over 3 years of experience in providing tax planning services or preparing client work papers and income tax returns.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field.
- Basic understanding of Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and the tax compliance process for real estate funds.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average, depending on work and client requirements.
- One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willingness to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Certifications such as Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as a Master's of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment.
- Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new technology solutions.
- Experience with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC740.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role takes into account various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. The disclosed salary range is $66,570 to $151,580. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on each case's specific facts and circumstances. Additionally, there may be eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules, with awards depending on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
