Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in commercial finance and/or real estate finance transactions.
- Draft and negotiate loan and security documents.
- Manage transactions from inception to closing.
- Work with a comprehensive understanding of UCC Article 9 or real estate secured lending, or both.
- Represent both lenders and borrowers in various transactions.
- Collaborate closely with a team of experienced finance attorneys.
- Participate in a wide range of debt financing transactions on both the lender-side and borrower-side.
- Contribute to a practice group that offers strong mentoring, sponsorship, and potential partnership opportunities.

Education and Experience Information:

- Experience at a firm with a comparable finance or real estate lending practice is necessary.

Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $220,000 – $330,000, depending on experience.

The law firm is seeking to fill 2-3 positions for mid-level to senior level associates in their Financial Practices Group. The opportunity is open in either the San Francisco or Irvine office. The firm values candidates with substantial experience in commercial and real estate finance transactions, as well as those skilled in drafting and negotiating essential loan and security documentation. The role demands managing financial transactions from their inception through to their completion, requiring candidates to have a robust understanding of UCC Article 9, real estate secured lending, or both.
