Duties:

  • Conduct client consultations to assess case viability and gather key information

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions

  • Draft legal documents, motions, and correspondence

  • Perform legal research and prepare case strategies

  • Participate in internal case reviews and team training sessions

  • Communicate regularly with clients in person, by phone, and through digital platforms

  • Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining the quality of service

  • Navigate cases from initiation through resolution

  • Collaborate with assigned case managers and support staff for seamless case progression

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and good standing

  • Willingness to appear in court regularly

  • Able to handle a broad array of civil law matters with minimal supervision

  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

  • Commitment to client service and legal excellence

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active member of the North Carolina State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and negotiation abilities

  • High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills

  • Organized and detail-oriented in case handling

  • Proficient in legal research tools and case management systems

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
