Job Title: Associate General Counsel- Legal
Job Responsibilities:
The Associate General Counsel will primarily provide legal support to the Medical Group within the organization. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and reviewing employment agreements, personal service agreements, and other general contracts.
- Advising business leaders on matters involving employed providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs).
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including IRS, HIPAA, Stark, and fraud and abuse statutes and regulations.
- Representing and advising on all corporate legal matters.
- Providing legal guidance on the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other fraud and abuse laws.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor degree required from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association.
- Requires a law license in good standing in Indiana.
- Preference for candidates with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- A broad general background in business and civil law is required.
- A healthcare background is preferred.
