Job Title: Banking & Capital Markets Tax Manager

Job Responsibilities:
A career in the Financial Services Tax practice at the company involves assisting clients in meeting their tax obligations while managing the impact of tax on their business. The role includes advising clients on local and overseas tax affairs, acting as a strategic consultant in business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. Additionally, the role encompasses helping organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties and providing advice on tax implications of deals. The team assists Financial Services clients in navigating the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. The manager will help clients with tax structuring while addressing the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.

The manager will work as part of a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 4 years
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in dealing with tax issues facing multinational US companies or publicly traded entities, especially in the areas of tax consulting and tax reporting and compliance.
- Extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a tax technical professional, researching business and industry trends to develop a point of view to leverage in assisting with proposals and considering opportunities across multiple lines of service.
- Extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success with automation and digitization in a professional services environment, including innovating through new and existing technologies, experimenting with digitization solutions, and working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools.
- Extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in pricing, client value, and the negotiation process, including reviewing contracts and finding opportunities to introduce new pricing options.
- Proven record of success in identifying and addressing client needs, participating in client discussions and meetings actively, communicating a broad range of firm services, and managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.
- Technical skills working with tax tools and resources including tax provision and compliance software such as Corptax, OneSource, or other similar platforms.
- Using research methods including Westlaw, RIA, and CCH.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $98,300 - $266,000, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
