The Tax + Benefits Associate will be part of the Tax Practice subgroup within the Tax & Benefits practice group, primarily focusing on transactional tax matters related to the energy industry. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in firm-wide interactions and maintaining client contact to provide comprehensive legal services.
- Drafting partnership agreements and tax opinions, with an emphasis on transactions within the energy sector.
- Collaborating with team members to support the growth and development of the practice group.
- Participating in professional organizations and seeking opportunities to speak and write on relevant topics to enhance professional development.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in a transactional tax practice, specifically with a focus on the energy industry.
- Partnership experience, including the drafting of partnership agreements, is particularly beneficial.
- Strong academic credentials demonstrating a solid educational background.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Prior experience working in a law firm is preferred, although experience with a large accounting firm will also be considered.
- Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state where they practice.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Tax + Benefits Associate position is $305,000 - $380,000, which is dependent on the candidate's relevant years of experience.
