The Role of Associate IP Counsel at **Members Only**

- Work with R&D partners and the IP Department to support bioproduction and biosciences
- Manage and develop robust patent portfolios in cell biology, cell and gene therapy, and genome editing
- Advise collaborators on risk mitigation strategies and conduct freedom to operate analyses for new product launches
- Drive revenue generation through commercial contract and licensing negotiations
- Develop and implement focused IP strategies to support business and commercial goals
- Educate key collaborators to protect company assets
- Participate in IP Department initiatives and encourage collaboration and teamwork

Required Experience and Skills:

- Technical degree in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in managing global patent portfolios in relevant fields
- 3+ years of law firm experience required
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in scientific or engineering field preferred
- Registered to practice before the . Patent and Trademark Office
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one . state
