Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate complex domestic and international technology and product licensing agreements.
Provide legal support for outbound and inbound licensing transactions while considering various legal, business, and financial issues.
Manage and oversee the company's patent portfolio to protect intellectual property and support strategic business objectives.
Advise on legal and business matters related to intellectual property, including patent prosecution and patent litigation.
Communicate with internal colleagues, including within the sales, legal, operations, engineering, and finance teams.
Lead negotiations with customers and close commercial deals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide practical and effective legal advice.
Prioritize and handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Identify and assess risk efficiently and make sound judgments even in ambiguous situations.
Maintain strong communication and analytical skills.
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and ability to think practically.
Uphold and promote the company's values of People, Customers, Performance, and Innovation.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

Education and Experience:
Law degree from a top tier accredited law school.
California bar license or ability to practice in California as a registered in-house counsel.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience at a top tier law firm and/or in-house technology company experience in drafting and negotiating technology and product licensing agreements is preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution or patent litigation.
Strong understanding of intellectual property laws and regulations.
Proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to think practically.
Sound judgment and ability to assess risk efficiently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Knowledge of the entertainment or technology industry is a plus.
