Job Title: Tax Legal Business Associate Manager
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager within the Tax Services department at the company, you will be an integral part of an engagement team, leveraging your expertise in accounting and taxation to offer tax compliance and tax process advisory services to multinational clients. Your role will involve transforming complex data and analyzing cross-border transactions using cutting-edge technology and best practices to align with international tax compliance requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on their technology and international tax reporting processes.
- Combining tax technical and technology skills to introduce new and innovative processes and solutions to clients.
- Providing international tax compliance services, as well as technology and process advice to help clients manage their multinational tax compliance functions.
Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience providing tax compliance services or preparing and reviewing client work, with a focus on international taxation.
- Advanced technology skills, including proficiency in Advanced Excel, VBA, Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI, and/or Python. This includes the ability to demonstrate and use formulas such as Index Match, SumIf, Xlookup, and other data analytical formulas.
- Advanced international compliance software skills, particularly with Corptax and/or Thompson Reuters OneSource. Full use and knowledge of the international modules of either software system is desired, including performing calculations for sub-f, GILTI, 163(j), and FTC, and understanding global trial balance imports, E&P automation, and analytical analysis of software results.
- Experience in performing tax calculations such as sub-f, GILTI, FDII, 163(j), FTCBEAT.
- Experience in . tax return compliance requirements, including forms like Form 5471, Form 8858, Form 8865, Schedules K-2/K-3, Form 8990, Form 8991, Form 8992, Form 8993, Form 8975, and Form 1118.
- Experience with foreign tax credit (FTC) planning, including gathering income sourcing data and performing computations of FTC.
- Technical understanding of Pillar II rules and general knowledge of Pillar II compliance processes.
- Ability to travel up to 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Active accreditation in one of the following: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or various Technology Certifications (a comprehensive list of acceptable certifications is provided).
Preferred:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of international tax process improvements and other areas affecting international tax, such as earnings and profits studies, outside tax basis analyses, transfer pricing, debt capacity analyses, amended returns, and PTEP analysis.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 firm, in public accounting, or in consulting.
- Previous multinational corporate experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role takes into account a variety of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is $103,320 to $235,170. It is typical for individuals to be hired at or near the middle of the range, with compensation decisions dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, where an award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
