Job Title: Healthcare Litigation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Healthcare Litigation Associate will support the health care litigation practice and will be responsible for handling various aspects of litigation and arbitration. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing pleadings
- Assisting with complex e-discovery
- Drafting dispositive motions
- Conducting legal research
- Drafting memoranda and correspondence
- Attending hearings
- Preparing for depositions
- Assisting with trial preparations and trial/final arbitration hearings
Education and Experience Information:
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- .
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare litigation experience
- Experience navigating complex health care regulatory environments, including laws impacting reimbursement under government health care programs, is a plus
- Experience representing managed care organizations and/or handling payor-provider disputes is a plus
- Superior research and analytical abilities
- Excellent legal writing skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $220,000 per year, depending on skills and experience. The firm offers a professional and friendly work environment with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, life, 401(k), and many other excellent benefits.
