Office of Legal and Legislative Affairs: Responsibilities and Expectations
- Excellent writing skills and professional communication required
- Legal research and summarization of Appellate and Supreme Court Decisions
- Intern will work closely with two units within the office
- Administrative Hearings Unit: Processes appeals and ensures compliance with applicable laws and codes
- Immigration Unit: Assists with immigration issues facing the populations served by DCF
- Interns may assist with writing Final Agency Decisions and providing education on immigration topics
