Job Title: Director of Mergers and Acquisition Tax

Salary Range: $140,900 - $434,000 (plus potential annual bonus)

As a Director of Mergers and Acquisition Tax, you will be responsible for providing tax advice and guidance during business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions. You will work closely with clients to analyze tax implications, develop tax structures, and navigate complex tax regulations to optimize tax outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Set strategic direction and lead business development efforts for the Federal M&A team
• Provide innovative tax advisory services to drive business growth
• Oversee multiple projects, maintaining client satisfaction and quality
• Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
• Mentor and develop future leaders in tax
• Utilize technology to enhance tax processes and efficiencies
• Maintain PwC's reputation for quality, integrity, and inclusivity
• Collaborate with other PwC teams to deliver integrated solutions
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of experience in tax consulting and planning
• Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
Preferred Qualifications:
• Juris Doctorate
• Proficiency in transaction structuring for tax issues
• Proven skills in financial modeling
• Experience in leading tax technical teams
• Proven record in generating new business
• Utilizing automation and digitization in tax services
• Evaluating and negotiating contracts
• Working with large, complex data sets
