Law Clerk Internship, Spring - $15/hr - 15-20 hours per week - volunteer position

The Office of the Attorney General in Maryland offers a volunteer Law Clerk program for law students to gain hands-on experience in various legal fields, including criminal investigations, consumer protection, and counsel for state agencies. Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and writing
- Participate in client and witness interviews
- Assist with litigation in Maryland's trial, administrative, and appellate courts
- Work with attorneys on a variety of legal matters, including environmental compliance, personnel, procurement, and more
- Help develop and manage regional and intergovernmental projects related to water supply, energy, and environmental protection
- Gain hands-on experience in various legal fields and make a difference in communities across the state

Qualifications:

- Excellent legal research and writing abilities
- Strong communication and team skills
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Available to work 15-20 hours per week
- Law students may be eligible to receive course credit for their time as a law clerk
