Duties:
Advise individuals and families on estate planning and probate matters
Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
Oversee execution of legal instruments to ensure compliance with applicable laws
Represent clients in trust and estate proceedings when necessary
Maintain and develop strong client relationships
Collaborate with team members to support the firm’s broader legal services, including real estate and commercial matters
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of estate planning experience
Demonstrated ability to manage estate planning and probate cases from start to finish
Strong attention to detail and commitment to legal accuracy
Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
Ability to work full-time on-site in Oak Park, IL
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in the State of Illinois (required)
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of estate planning, probate, and trust administration
Skilled in legal drafting and document review
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Clear, professional communication—both written and verbal
Familiarity with real estate transactions is a plus
