Internship Opportunity for Law Students at Organization
Organization is currently accepting applications for their Spring Session internship program. This program provides law students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the legal field while working in one of the sections of their Division of Law. The internship is available during the Spring semester, from January to April, and the application deadline is November 15. Interested students are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible, as positions are filled on a rolling basis.
Responsibilities
During the internship, students will be assigned to one of the sections within Organization's Division of Law and will be supervised by a Deputy Attorney General. They will have the chance to work on a variety of tasks, including research and writing, and will have the opportunity to observe various legal activities. This may include attending court proceedings, meetings with clients, depositions, and other special events. Additionally, interns will be eligible to participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year.
Location
The internship is available at Organization's Newark office, located at 124 Halsey Street, Newark, NJ 07101. This location offers a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment, providing interns with a unique learning experience.
Qualifications
To be considered for the internship program, applicants must be currently enrolled in law school. They should also have a strong academic record and excellent research and writing skills. Prior experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required.
