Job Title: Tax Senior Manager - Private Equity

Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Tax Manager in the department, you will leverage your experience to deliver tax compliance and consulting services tailored to investment management clients. Your role involves the effective analysis, development, and implementation of clients’ tax objectives. You will nurture client relationships by offering tax consulting services and engaging specialists as needed. Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting high-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax returns.
- Leading client meetings on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of various transactions for funds.
- Training, mentoring, and supervising Tax Consultants, Seniors, and Managers.
- Playing a significant role in the recruitment process.
- Acting as the primary client contact on engagements and managing the billing and profitability analysis of engagements.
- Involvement in marketplace eminence building and pursuits.

Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- A minimum of 8 years of corporate tax experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong managerial experience with budgets, people, and projects.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-starter with the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, depending on the work, clients, and industries/sectors served.
- Active accreditation in one of the following:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible: Licensed Attorney or Enrolled Agent.
- Certifications such as Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Previous experience in Big 4 or large CPA firms.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differentials associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At the company, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,570 to $285,740.

Additional Information:
You may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the program's rules, where an award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
