A law firm based in Chicago is actively seeking an Attorney with 0-10 years of experience in toxic tort defense. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and maintain an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in toxic tort defense cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies.
• Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and internal teams to gather relevant information for cases.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations, representing clients as required.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
• 0-10 years of experience in toxic tort defense.
• In-depth knowledge of toxic tort laws, regulations, and defense strategies.
