JOB TITLE: Trusts & Estate Planning Attorney

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Trusts & Estate Planning Attorney will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal services in the area of estate planning and administration. This includes:

- Advising clients on wealth transfer strategies and drafting essential estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Offering guidance to charitable organizations and handling trust and probate administration, as well as resolving any related controversies.
- Providing general business transaction advice to clients.
- Engaging in immediate client contact and gaining hands-on experience within a well-respected estate planning and corporate law practice.

The attorney will also be expected to interface directly with attorneys and clients, work independently and productively, and develop and implement legal strategies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record is required.
- Admission to the Missouri Bar is mandatory.
- Preferred candidates will have an LLM in taxation or estate planning.
- The candidate should have 1-3+ years of relevant experience in wealth transfer strategies, estate planning document drafting, charitable organization advice, trust and probate administration, and general business transaction advice.
- A background in finance or accounting is advantageous.

- Ability to see and read PC screens, detect color coding, and read fine print or normal type size print.
