Commercial Engines Global Trade Senior Manager (Onsite)
Job Responsibilities:
The Commercial Engines Global Trade Senior Manager is a pivotal leadership role within the Commercial Engines Global Trade organization at the company. This role necessitates strong business and global trade expertise as well as proven leadership capabilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, managing, and ensuring compliance for the Commercial Engines (CE) organization, including international CE sites.
- Actively participating in process improvement initiatives led by the Legal Contracts and Compliance department, and developing common process approaches for use across all company organizations and disciplines. This includes jurisdiction and classification (J/C), GT Focal training, export operational process management, and export authorization.
- Identifying compliance risks, assisting in audits, and developing plans to eliminate or mitigate global trade risks.
- Reporting all potential Global Trade concerns in alignment with company and RTX Global Trade requirements.
- Advising the Associate Director, Global Trade, CE on emerging issues or concerns.
- Collaborating with company Global Trade site leads abroad for necessary support, alignment, and strategy regarding the aforementioned elements.
- Supporting, analyzing, and documenting third-party screening, end-use statement requests, licensing, classification, SAP GTS dispositioning, and related tasks as required.
- Leading and facilitating Global Trade investigations to ensure root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented to reduce escapes.
- Assisting sites in deploying standard work and written procedures for implementing Global Trade control processes.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements:
- An advanced degree with 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Legal, Regulatory, or Global Trade functions; OR a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
Qualifications Preferred:
- Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, MBA, or Juris Doctor (JD).
- Comprehensive understanding of . export and import customs regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze problems, assess options, and propose solutions.
- Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of continuous improvement principles and tools, such as CORE/ACE/Six Sigma/LEAN.
- Experience working with SAP GTS module, data analysis tools, and the MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management, shop personnel, and customers.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the Commercial Engines Global Trade Senior Manager role is between 124,000 USD and 250,000 USD. This range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The company considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is based in the United States. If the successful candidate resides in a . territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
