Working Conditions
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. The employee may be required to travel to various court locations to perform duties. May be required to work evenings, weekends or holidays.

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to read and understand complex legal documents. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals in person and over the telephone.

The Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Law Clerk. This is a limited-term position with a maximum of 30 months of employment. The Law Clerk will work under the general direction of a judicial officer and will be responsible for conducting legal research, analyzing motions and other matters on the court calendar, and preparing written recommendations.
