Duties:

  • Manage complex litigation cases, including those related to construction, contract disputes, personal injury, and premises liability.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and provide strategic legal analysis.
  • Take depositions and represent clients in court, presenting oral arguments as needed.
  • Collaborate with partners and other team members to develop case strategies and ensure favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and professional service.
  • Actively contribute to the firm's growth by participating in business development and client engagement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on civil litigation and/or insurance defense preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload with competing priorities.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with an attention to detail.
  • Comfortable taking depositions and presenting oral arguments in court.
  • Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
  • Experience with case management systems and related legal technology.
  • Motivated to grow professionally and take on leadership roles in complex cases.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the Oregon State Bar.
