The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking highly qualified and motivated individuals to join our team as Legal Interns. Our office is dedicated to providing top-notch legal representation to the six million residents of Missouri. As the state's top legal authority, we are committed to upholding justice and protecting the rights of our citizens.
We are currently offering internships in our Jefferson City headquarters as well as our satellite offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, and Cape Girardeau. These opportunities are available during the academic year and over the summer. Interns may choose to receive class credit or pay for their work.
We are looking for candidates with outstanding credentials who are passionate about making a difference in the state of Missouri. Our Legal Interns will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal issues and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
- Attend court proceedings and observe case arguments
- Participate in client meetings and conferences
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in law school or pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related field
- Excellent academic record and strong writing skills
- Passion for public service and a desire to make a positive impact in the state of Missouri
- Prior legal experience or coursework is preferred but not required
