Tax Senior – Global Employer Services - Japanese Services Group
- Salary range: $66,570 - $151,580
- Location: 46 locations worldwide

- 3+ years of experience in global mobility compliance or personal income tax and compliance
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to travel up to 10% based on work and client needs
- Active accreditation in one of the following: CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, GPHR, CEP, CEBS, CPC, CPP, PMP, or Workday Certification

Position Summary:
- Leadership and strategic role in designing talent, mobility, and rewards programs for global clients
- Integration of strategic business knowledge with market-leading experience
- In-depth technical knowledge of regulatory landscape and business environments around the world

Work you'll do:
- Correspondence with individual taxpayers in Japanese to collect data and answer questions regarding US individual income tax return
- Translation of documents from Japanese to English for tax compliance process
- Correspondence with US and US India team members in English to coordinate missing tax data collection and return delivery

- Assist international clients with managing employer and individual income tax obligations for mobile employees working abroad and inbound
- Consult clients on developing international assignment programs and policies and minimizing tax obligations through effective tax planning

Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- Fluent in both English and Japanese
- 3+ years of experience in global mobility compliance or personal income tax and compliance
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Active accreditation in one of the following: CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, GPHR, CEP, CEBS, CPC, CPP, PMP, or Workday Certification

Preferred:
- Master's degree or equivalent in a related field
- Global experience
- Experience in managing people, client interaction, and sales
- Office/technical skills including Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, QlikView, and Tableau
- Strong analytical, consultative, quantitative, and project management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and deadline-driven
- Leadership skills in managing client relationships and developing customized solutions
