About the Organization:
The Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) is the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws. It is located at the **Members Only** headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. The primary mission of EOIR is to adjudicate immigration cases by fairly, expeditiously, and uniformly interpreting and administering the Nation's immigration laws.
Job Description:
As a Law Student Volunteer at the BIA, you will work closely with BIA attorneys and Appellate Immigration Judges on a wide variety of immigration cases. This will involve drafting decisions, conducting legal research, and writing projects under the supervision of the BIA's Senior Legal Advisors. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the adjudicatory process and expand your knowledge of immigration law.
Qualifications:

- Strong research and writing skills are required.
- Experience in immigration law, appellate law, and/or administrative law is desired, though not necessary.
