Job Title: Manager, Transfer Pricing
Job Responsibilities:
As a Manager in Transfer Pricing within the Tax Services and Transfer Pricing - Compliance and Consulting department at the company, you will play a pivotal role in providing clients with essential knowledge to effectively navigate intercompany pricing issues. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of economists, tax attorneys, business professionals, and tax specialists to analyze and resolve international transfer pricing issues faced by multinational enterprises across various industries.
- Supervising and guiding engagement staff, providing leadership, counseling, and training to Consultants and Senior Consultants.
- Being a key member of a client-facing team, gaining a comprehensive understanding of clients' businesses and the broader industry in which they operate.
- Managing and overseeing detailed economic and financial analyses, as well as complex modeling and empirical analyses.
- Assisting in drafting proposals, document requests, reports, client presentations, and other client materials.
Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for the Manager, Transfer Pricing role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- 5+ years of experience working in Transfer Pricing in a consulting environment.
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or . in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- One of the following active accreditations obtained:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible, one of the other designations listed below based on role requirements and business approval:
- Licensed attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or . in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Public Policy, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent (Master’s or . preferred)
- Other: foreign equivalent of the above
Preferred:
- Previous Big 4, transfer pricing, or financial experience.
- Highly motivated transfer pricing expert with a deep understanding of transfer pricing principles, their theory, and interpretation.
- Strong project management skills and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment.
Salary Information:
The wage range for the Manager, Transfer Pricing role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $103,320 to $235,170. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, where an award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
