The **Members Only** (GELC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time contract attorney to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals facing gender-based discrimination in the workplace and beyond. As a small public interest law firm, we are dedicated to representing low and moderate income individuals and promoting gender equality in all its forms.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of five years of litigation experience, preferably in federal court. The successful candidate must have a . and be able to work 20-30 hours per week. As this is a part-time position, the annual salary will be pro-rated based on the amount of time worked. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission and have a strong understanding of gender-related discrimination and its intersectionality with other forms of discrimination.

GELC defines "gender" broadly to include sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Our primary focus areas include sexual harassment and violence prevention, pregnancy and caregiver discrimination, and LGBTQ+ rights. Our cases involve intersectional claims, such as gender plus race, national origin, and immigration status. We not only strive to obtain monetary compensation for our clients but also aim to bring about systemic change in institutional practices.
