Join Our Natural Resources Group and Make a Difference
Our Natural Resources group is responsible for representing clients in complex litigation, administrative proceedings, and transactions related to water quality and rights, hazardous waste, mining, oil and gas, public lands, and air quality. You'll have the opportunity to work on important cases, significant deals, and pivotal legislation that impacts our country.
A Dynamic and Collaborative Environment
At Brownstein, we value camaraderie, collaboration, and a challenge. We are looking for an associate with 1-5 years of experience in a general environmental practice, including areas such as NEPA, ESA, CAA, CWA, BLM leasing, USFS permitting, natural resources litigation, and water rights. The ideal candidate will also have industry experience in energy, infrastructure development and use, agency rulemaking, water quality, and enforcement proceedings. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to translate legal knowledge into practical solutions are essential for success in this role.

In addition to a competitive salary ranging from $200,000 - $230,000, based on experience, associates are eligible for an hours-based bonus and discretionary bonus based on performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, voluntary insurance options, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, profit sharing contributions, and paid time off. We are also open to candidates outside of Colorado.
