Job Title: Tax Manager - Private Wealth

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager within the Private Wealth Tax practice, the primary responsibilities include performing high-level reviews of tax research related to individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift work papers and tax returns. The role requires preparing and leading client meetings focused on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions for clients. Additionally, the Tax Manager is responsible for training, mentoring, and supervising new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors. The manager will also begin taking on lead client-contact roles and conducting billing and profitability analysis on engagements, while being involved in marketplace eminence building and pursuits.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field is required.
- Applicants must have 5+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 3 years in investment management.
- Experience in reviewing partnership and/or trust documents is necessary.
- Experience managing projects, including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing, is required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are necessary.
- Excellent research and writing skills are essential.
- One of the following accreditations must be obtained: Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Preferred qualifications include:
- An advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM.
- Prior experience with a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting.

The role requires the ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week and the ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work and clients served.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers various factors such as skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is $93,660 to $213,200. Deloitte typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Candidates may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, with awards dependent on factors including individual and organizational performance.
