Duties:

  • Conduct title review and resolve title issues for real estate transactions

  • Provide legal counsel to clients regarding residential real estate matters

  • Draft and review contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and deeds

  • Represent clients during real estate closings

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Florida real estate laws and regulations

  • Communicate with real estate agents, lenders, clients, and title companies

  • Negotiate terms and resolve transactional issues as they arise

  • Perform legal research and provide insights into relevant legal developments

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing real estate law

  • Strong title review and resolution background

  • Ability to work with multiple parties and manage expectations

  • Exceptional professionalism and responsiveness in client interactions

  • Licensed as a notary public (required)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Florida (required)

  • Notary Public certification (required)

Skills:

  • Expertise in title review and real estate transaction processes

  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing real estate-related legal documents

  • Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking communication skills

  • Strong negotiation skills with attention to detail

  • Familiarity with Florida residential real estate law and procedures
