The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense construction defect, personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, premises liability, and general civil litigation. First chair trial experience is a plus, but not a requirement for this position.
As a Civil Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for taking and defending depositions as lead counsel in seven figure, multi-party cases. This includes handling both party and expert depositions, attending mediations, and participating in oral arguments for law-and-motion cases. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and excellent leadership skills, as well as exceptional case management, communication, research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
To be considered for this position, you must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school and be an active member of the California State Bar in good standing. You should also have 5-10 years of experience practicing civil litigation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you must be able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple cases, pay attention to detail, and have experience with legal research tools and software.
We offer a competitive salary starting at $135,000 based on 1,800 billable hours to clients.
