Spring Internship at Organization: Gain Hands-On Experience in the Political World
Organization is offering exciting internship opportunities for college students in their Washington, . office and district offices in Worcester, Northampton, and Leominster. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience in the political world. Our internships are available during the fall, spring, and summer semesters, with flexible hours to accommodate your course schedule.
Responsibilities and Experience
As an intern at Organization, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including answering phones, running errands, researching legislation, attending hearings and briefings, and answering constituent letters on various issues before the House of Representatives. In our district offices, you will have the opportunity to assist our staff in helping constituents resolve issues with government agencies. In our Washington office, you will also have the chance to conduct tours of the Capitol Building for groups visiting from Massachusetts.

Requirements and Application Process

Interns must also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary Information and Hours
Our internships are unpaid, but we are happy to work with your school or university to provide academic credit. Internship hours are flexible and can be adjusted to fit your schedule. In our . office, hours are generally from 9:00 . to 6:00 . when Congress is in session and 9:00 . to 5:00 . when not in session. In district offices, hours are from 9:00 . to 5:00 .
