Job Title: Counsel, Product & Advanced Technologies - Remote USA

Job Responsibilities:
The role of Counsel, Complex Transactions at the company involves partnering across various levels of the organization, including clinical, medical affairs, marketing, finance, business development, business operations, and sales teams. The primary responsibilities include:

- Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing a broad range of agreements.
- Partnering with data transformation, product, and commercial teams on complex legal matters related to software and hardware development.
- Collaborating with business and subject-matter experts to provide recommendations on compliant paths forward.
- Drafting and negotiating complex legal contracts such as data sharing agreements, collaboration and AI agreements, and customer and vendor agreements to drive new initiatives with research partners and enterprise customers.
- Providing salient legal advice to technology, product, and commercial teams to develop and launch innovative data and digital products and solutions.
- Developing and improving contractual templates, policies, and procedures related to advanced technology and digital products.
- Staying current on applicable laws, rules, regulations, regulatory guidance, and industry codes, especially concerning AI, security, healthcare, medical devices, and sharing knowledge across the Legal and Compliance department.

Education and Experience Information:
The essential requirements for this job include:

- JD degree from an accredited . law school and active bar membership in good standing.
- A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of related work experience OR Master’s degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience.

Preferred experience includes:

- Transactions or litigation experience in the medical diagnostics or healthcare industry.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of agreements, including data sharing, collaboration, AI, and customer and vendor agreements.
- Experience in advanced technology or software product development, including digital products and AI/ML technologies.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this role is $114,700-$170,000. This range is the company's good faith belief of possible compensation for the role at the time of posting. The range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. The company offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
